Let's Move! Child Care EMPOWERS child care providers to make positive health changes in children, early on, that will last a lifetime. Let's Move! Child Care aligns with the ADHS Empower program and ADHS proudly supports this great initiative. Let's Move! Child Care gives the support providers need by providing tools and resources for healthy eating and active living in child care centers and homes. Empower Pack
Empower Pack is a new opportunity for child care providers. The program empowers children to make good choices about nutrition, physical activity, and tobacco using age-appropriate vehicles including costumed characters and a coloring book. In addition to reduced licensing fees, participating child care providers, or Empower Centers, receive an Empower Pack. The guidelines and tools included in this Empower Pack can be easily incorporated into the everyday routine of child care to instill healthy life choices.
Participating child care providers receive:
- reduced licensing fees
- a state-issued Empower Center designation
- an Empower Pack
